fall in our bedroom
I did something similar last fall in our bedroom. I used a vertical lift and fitted it inside a custom-built cabinet at the foot of the bed. One thing that helped a lot was getting a unit with a pre-assembled mechanism—it saved me hours of frustration. If you haven’t already, check out this drop down tv lift https://www.progressiveautomations.com/collections/tv-lifts it shows different lift styles and makes it easier to figure out what works with your setup. Definitely test the motion a few times before final install!

I’ve noticed how much cleaner setups look when folks take time to properly hide the components—cables, brackets, even remote receivers. It really changes how the room feels when everything tucks away neatly. A lot of people don’t realize how much design depends on the stuff you don’t see.
